Oregon has 363 miles of coastline just waiting for you to enjoy with a tour in your state-of-the-art used RV. Along with Oregon's beautiful coastline which is dotted with lighthouses, charming towns, and awesome views, there are also scenic byways that stretch further in-land that are just as impressive. Take the West Cascades Scenic Byway to Detroit Lake, one of Oregon's most popular recreational areas. Pure, cascading rivers and towering old-growth Douglas firs make this route a beautiful site. Mount Hood is another big Oregon attraction and when I say big, I mean BIG. Standing 11,249 feet tall, Mt. Hood's snow-capped peaks boast the nations longest ski-season. However, if you are looking for indoor activities, this region has indoor activities too. One of these places to visit is The Dalles’ Columbia Gorge Discovery Center which explains a lot about the Lewis & Clark Expedition through available exhibits.
