"Rare Whaletail Flying Cloud" Vintage Airstream Restoration Project!
This 13 Panel "55" is waiting for someone to finish the restoration. It comes with New tail lights, Marker lights Tires, wheels, Brakes, New wiring with new umbilical to tow vehicle. The Battery box is a locking two battery box by Tork-Lift, and it has a brand new Sidewind tongue jack. The fresh water plumbing has all been replaced with modern components, yet using the retro galley sink and new 5gallon electric water heater, the entire 120V electrical system has been upgraded with all new wiring, outlets, shore power inlet, and modern convertor/battery charger system.
The restoration was started and on the interior it has new retro Dinette table and matching Retro Galley countertop and All New retro fabric covered seat cushions And new Marmoleum Floor Covering. Some of the interior finishes have been re finished, and some of the Aluminum skin has been polished inside and out. All New appliances installed Plus a Airhead brand compost toilet you can install.
The Roof Air Conditioner is a Dometic Penguin style modern unit that was professionally installed. Come take a LOOK, It could be a really Cool Trailer!

The 22' Flying Cloud was considered Airstream’s “best-balanced” trailer in 1955 — small enough for light-duty tow vehicles, but still fully self-contained. It later evolved into the iconic Safari and Overlander lines of the 1960s.
