Towing & HitchUnlike massive fifth wheels, the Scamp 19 utilizes a ball hitch mounted inside the truck bed rather than a traditional kingpin/jaw fifth-wheel setup. This makes it highly stable and eliminates the sway often experienced with bumper-pull trailers. Because of its over-bed design, it is best suited for trucks with lower side-bed rails to prevent the trailer from contacting the truck during tight turns.
